Full terms

1. Who provides this warranty

Joinerie Closets provides this limited warranty for qualifying products purchased directly from Joinerie Closets.

2. Who and what are covered

This warranty covers the original retail purchaser and the Joinerie-supplied closet panels, edge banding, hardware, and accessories installed in the purchaser's residence. It applies only to normal indoor residential use and is not transferable.

3. How long coverage lasts

Coverage begins on the delivery date and continues for as long as the original purchaser owns the residence where the closet was first installed. Coverage ends when that purchaser sells or otherwise transfers ownership of the residence.

4. What is covered

We cover defects in materials or workmanship that appear during normal indoor residential use. A covered defect is a failure of a supplied part to perform as intended because of how that part was made, not damage caused after delivery.

5. What is not covered

This warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect measurements, improper installation, failure to follow the installation guide, alteration or on-site modification, misuse, abuse, neglect, overloading, impact, normal wear, scratches, chips, fading, leaks, standing water, excessive moisture or humidity, fire, flood, pests, or other events outside our control. Natural variation between photographs and manufactured finish lots is not a defect. Damage to walls, floors, personal property, and work performed by installers or handymen is not covered.

6. How to make a claim

Email us at hello@joinerieclosets.com with your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photographs of the affected part and installation. We may ask for proof of purchase, additional photographs, measurements, or return of the affected part before deciding the claim.

7. What we will do

If we confirm a covered defect, Joinerie Closets will, at its option, repair the affected part or provide a replacement part and standard delivery at no charge. If the original material or finish is no longer available, we may provide the closest reasonably comparable current option. This warranty does not include removal, reinstallation, site repair, or other labor costs.

8. Delivery damage

Delivery damage is handled separately from the lifetime warranty. Inspect the shipment when it arrives and report visible or concealed damage within 30 days of delivery with the order number and photographs. We will replace a part confirmed to have been damaged in transit.

9. Limits and state rights

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Joinerie Closets is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Nothing in this warranty limits a right or remedy that cannot be limited under applicable law.
