We collect information you give us, including your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, room measurements, closet design, finish and accessory selections, messages, and order details.

When you save or email a design without an account, we store your contact details and the design so our team can help you. If you send a copy to someone else, we also store their email address and send the requested design. Sharing does not subscribe that person to marketing. Only share with someone who has agreed to receive it. Anyone with a design link can open and customize a copy, but the link does not reveal your contact details or give access to your account.

When you pay, Stripe processes your payment information. We receive confirmation and transaction details, but we do not receive or store your full card number.

We also use Stripe to display payment plans beside closet prices. Stripe receives the purchase amount and uses technical information, including cookies, IP addresses, and interactions with its embedded components, to display available plans, provide its services, and prevent fraud. Our website and hosting providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, timestamps, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the site.

The configurator uses local browser storage to keep your design, buyer type, and saved contact details on your device. You can remove this information by clearing your browser storage.

We use first-party and Google Ads measurement to understand whether an advertisement leads to a visit, use of the configurator, checkout, or a paid order. We store anonymous browser and session identifiers, the landing page, referring site, advertising click identifiers, and campaign tags for this purpose. This measurement is active by default unless you decline it below or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

For a paid order, we send Google the amount paid, currency, and a unique Stripe checkout-session identifier so the same order is not counted twice. We do not send closet measurements, messages, or payment details. When measurement is allowed, we may also use prior website interactions, such as active time in the design studio, to show Joinerie Closets advertisements to returning visitors. You can change your choice at any time on this page.

We use personal information to save and price designs, review measurements, prepare drawings, process payment, manufacture and deliver orders, provide installation and warranty support, respond to requests, send occasional product news and offers, prevent fraud, maintain the website, and comply with legal and accounting obligations. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.

We share information only as needed with service providers that help us run the business, such as Stripe, website and cloud providers, manufacturers, carriers, and installation or customer-support partners. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or the business, or as part of a merger, financing, or sale of the business.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers. Our advertising providers may use website interaction data to deliver and measure Joinerie Closets ads as described in Section 3.

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain order and warranty records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Retention periods vary by record type.

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. You may also opt out of marketing emails at any time. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when the law permits or requires it.

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights to know, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information and to appeal a decision about a privacy request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Services linked from our site have their own privacy practices. For example, payment is handled under Stripe's privacy policy. We encourage you to review the policies of any third-party service you use.
